WASTE & RECYCLING MANAGEMENT
Run Cheltenham takes its social responsibilities very seriously. Waste and recycling management is a key topic for the community and we want to do all we can to manage the waste generated by our event in the best and safest way possible. We work closely with Cheltenham Racecourse to ensure that all waste is managed appropriately.
Wooden Medals
Sustainable, FSC certified wooden medals help us to reduce our carbon footprint and meet our sustainability targets for the event.
Plant More Trees
Runners can opt-out of receiving a finisher T-shirt, and instead, the event organiser will plant a tree on their behalf. We have partnered with More Trees.
We have teamed up with event waste management specialists MJ Church who will be helping us clear up after the Albert Goodman Weston Super Half & Moki Community Mile.
Compostable Cups
Fully compostable paper cups used at all water and drinks stations along the route.
